The Lincoln Historical Homes and Buildings Commission
will again host a workshop, "Follow the Information Trail," designed
to educate participants on information sources available for
research on Lincoln properties. Professor Robert Johnson from
Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield will be one of the
speakers at the workshop Tuesday evening.

Information sources include researching
local newspapers, the Lincoln Community High School historical homes
project, the federal census, Logan County history books, city
directories, the assessor's office, the title company and local
individuals who have information about various Lincoln homes.
The commission has awarded historical
markers to 27 different Lincoln homes and businesses.
Everyone interested is invited to
the workshop on Tuesday in the Pegram Room at the Lincoln
Public Library. The workshop will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
