LINCOLN -- Doris Curry, 82, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Jan.
13, 2005, at 3:25 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Her funeral was Saturday morning at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Jame Hahs officiating. Visitation
preceded the service.
Burial is in Mason City Cemetery.
Mrs. Curry retired from Lincoln Developmental Center, where
she was a technician.
She was born Sept. 13, 1922, at Mackenzie, N.D., to John
and Maud Ingersoll Williamson. She married Harold Curry in
Missouri in 1941. He died in July of 1946.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce (and Nellie) Curry of
Sullivan and Albert (and Dorothy) Curry of Akron, Ohio; two
daughters, Shirley Curry of Lincoln and Alberta (and Paul)
Gray of Lincoln; six grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Viola Penicook of
Piper City.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters, one brother
and a stillborn son.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was a member of Lincoln Eagles Auxiliary and the
Lincoln American Legion Auxiliary.

MASON CITY -- Shirley Jean
Walker, 69, of Mason City, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at
5:17 p.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m.
Saturday at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City, with the Rev.
Dustin Fulton officiating. Visitation was on Friday at the
funeral home.
Burial will be in Mason City
Cemetery.
Ms. Walker retired from state
employment in 2003. She had worked at Lincoln Developmental
Center.
She was born Dec. 24, 1935, in
Luther Township, Mason City, to John and Jodie Hutchinson
Davis.
She is survived by two sons,
John Koehne (and caregiver Michael Harlow) of Springfield and
Kenneth Koehne of Springfield; three daughters, Jodie (and
Gene) Smith of Riverton, Linda McCray of Lincoln and Donna
(and Bob) Bolyard of Elkhart; four grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pat Davis of Mason City and
Donald Davis of Utica; and one sister, Mary Gadberry of
Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by
her parents; twin sons Steven and William Walker in 1970; one
grandson, Chip Smith, in 1999; three brothers; and one sister.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the Bethesda group home in Mason City.
