Children age 4-12 are encouraged to participate in the summer
reading program, which involves games, crafts and other activities
related to heroes and superheroes. There is no cost for the program.
Diane Meyrick of Middletown is leading a class in yoga, a unique
opportunity these days when all are fitness-conscious. Yoga
emphasizes exercises and relaxation to improve posture, breathing
and overall fitness -- important to any hero or superhero. The free
class on alternate Wednesdays through July is from 2 to 2:40 p.m.,
followed by healthy snacks. Each participant should bring a large
bath towel.
