Pegues finished his college career at Illinois State in 1998 after
transferring from the University of Miami (FL), where he was a

the Redbirds to their best season since 1972 and first-ever I-AA
playoff appearance.
OTHER ILLINOIS CONNECTIONS: Across the field on Sunday, Pegues will
face former Northwestern University defensive end DWAYNE MISSOURI
and former Western Illinois lineman CYRON BROWN --
