                  Archived March 4, 2005 SAN JOSE -- Tyler William 
                  Helton, 11, of San Jose died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at 4:15 
                  a.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 
                  p.m. Saturday at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. His 
                  funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the 
                  Rev. H. Curtis McCallister officiating. Burial will be in Easton 
                  Cemetery, Easton. Tyler was a student at Illini 
                  Central Middle School. He attended the Mason City 
                  Baptist Church and participated in Mason City-Illini Central 
                  Little League baseball and Cub Scouts. He was born Jan. 5, 1994, in 
                  Springfield to Larry and Lori Blunt Bale Jr. He is survived by his parents; 
                  one brother, Jarod Helton, 9, of San Jose; one sister, 
                  Courtney Helton, 15, of San Jose; two aunts; two uncles; 
                  several cousins; and his paternal grandparents, Larry and Pat 
                  Bale of Woodbridge, Va. He was preceded in death by 
                  his maternal grandparents, William and Myrna Blunt. Memorial contributions may be 
                  made to the Tyler Helton Benefit Fund at Mason City National 
                  Bank.

                  Archived March 4, 2005 LINCOLN -- Decemma Mae 
                  Armstrong, 85, of Lincoln died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 
                  9:57 p.m. at her home in the presence of her family. Visitation will be from 4 
                  until 7 p.m. Sunday at Peasley Funeral Home. Prior to 
                  visitation, the rosary will be recited at 3:45. Her funeral will be at 11:30 
                  a.m. Monday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. 
                  Vincent C. Peters officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
                  Cemetery, rural Lincoln. Mrs. Armstrong worked at Hotel 
                  Lincoln, Dairy Lane Milk Store and the Lincoln Garment 
                  Factory. She was born May 16, 1919, in 
                  Lincoln to Oria J. and Flo M. Aery Smith. She married Charles 
                  J. Armstrong in Pontiac on Aug. 7, 1947. He preceded her in 
                  death on May 23, 1995, in Lincoln.  She is survived by four sons, 
                  William J. (and Beverly) Armstrong of Choctaw, Okla., Michael 
                  L. (and Linda) Armstrong of Lincoln, James Mark (Cynthia) 
                  Armstrong of Choctaw, Okla., and Timothy D. (and Jean) 
                  Armstrong of Bloomington; one daughter, Cyndy A. (and James) 
                  Springer of Lincoln; 12 grandchildren; four 
                  great-grandchildren; two sisters, Fern (and Charles) Turley of 
                  Kimberling City, Mo., and Joyce (and James) Pinney of Lincoln; 
                  two brothers, Jack A. Smith of Tennessee and Donald D. (and 
                  Carol) Smith of Marion, Iowa; and an uncle, Frank Smith of 
                  Park Forest. She was also preceded in death 
                  by one son, Ronald Charles Armstrong; one brother, Oria Smith; 
                  and one sister, Mary Ellen Bennett. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of 
                  Holy Family Church, Horseless Carriage Club of Illinois and 
                  the Railsplitters Antique Auto Club Memorials may be made to the 
                  neonatal intensive care unit of Children's Hospital at OSF St. 
                  Francis Hospital in Peoria or to Carroll Catholic School in 
                  Lincoln.
