LINCOLN -- Raymond Gerald "Mac" McHaney, 87, died Friday, May 6, 2005, at 9:55 a.m. at the Christian Nursing Home.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Lincoln Christian Church, with Tom Gerdts, Ryan Edgecomb and Gary Sheets officiating.

There will be no visitation.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln handled arrangements.

Mr. McHaney was a retired farmer and had also been a chemical worker in Tuscola.

He was born May 5, 1918, at Clinton to Edward and Elizabeth McKinney McHaney. He married Hilma V. Bruce on Oct. 30, 1936, in Clinton.

He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; one daughter, Annette (and Jim) Billington of Lincoln; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald McHaney of Delavan; and three sisters, Dortha Roberts of Clinton, Helen Primmer of Clinton and Ruth Sprague of Clinton

He was preceded in death by one son, Larry McHaney.

He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to his church, C.O.P.E. of West Pokot, Kenya, or Hospice Care of Illinois.

Wilma Willis

LINCOLN -- Wilma L. Willis, 80, formerly of Lincoln, entered into rest on Monday, May 2, 2005, at 6:25 p.m. in Spokane, Wash., where she had resided since 1993.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. A rosary service will be at 6:45 p.m.

Her funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rev. R. Anthony Lee officiating.

Inurnment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. Willis worked at Lincoln State Bank and then at Lincoln State School. She moved to Nashville and then to Spokane, Wash., to be near family following the death of her loving husband of 46 years.

She was born on July 13, 1924, near Atlanta to Ralph and Ethel Condor Brown. She married Robert W. Willis on Jan. 18, 1947, in Lincoln.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou Willis of Spokane, Wash., and Ethel M. (and Bill) Goodman of Republic, Wash.; a sister, Evelyn (and Glenn) Cook of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Willis Jr.

She attended Atlanta High School and Lincoln College.
