MOUNT PULASKI -- Clifford L.
Leimbach, 93, of Mount Pulaski died Wednesday, May 25, 2005,
at 9:45 a.m. in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7
p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski, with the
Rev. Joel Cluver officiating.
Burial will be in Randolph
Cemetery, Kenney.
Mr. Leimbach was a banker at
the State Bank of Chestnut for 40 years and the First National
Bank in Mount Pulaski for 12 years, as well as a lifelong
farmer in the Chestnut area. He was also a licensed real
estate and insurance broker.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of
World War II and served in the Philippines and the U.S.
Occupation of Japan.
He was born Nov. 22, 1911, at
Chestnut to Louis and Carrie Stoll Leimbach. He married Nellie
E. Randolph in Lincoln of July 17, 1938.
He is survived by his wife, of
Mount Pulaski; two daughters, Delores "Dee" (and Dennis)
McCauley of Springfield and Deborah E. (and David) Hamilton of
Lithia, Fla.; one son, Daniel (and Deborah) Leimbach of
Glastonbury, Conn.; six grandchildren; and one brother,
Cleatus Leimbach of Santa Claus, Ind.
He was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski and a former member of Zion
Lutheran Church in Chestnut, where he served as treasurer. He
was also a member of Mount Pulaski Rotary, Mount Pulaski Lions
Club, Mount Pulaski American Legion Post 777, Chestnut Men's
Club, Chestnut Volunteer Fire Department and Logan County Farm
Bureau.
He served on the school board
in Chestnut, on the Randolph Cemetery board and was treasurer
for the Logan County Red Cross for many years.
Memorials may be made to his
church, Chestnut Fire and Rescue, and Mount Pulaski Fire and
Rescue.

LINCOLN -- Dallas D. Reinhart,
76, of Lincoln died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at 4:31 a.m. at
Maple Ridge Care Centre.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7
p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Holy Family Church, with the Rev. R. Anthony Lee
officiating.
Burial, with military rites,
will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Reinhart retired from the
Illinois Secretary of State Driver’s License Bureau in
Lincoln. He worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for
20 years.
He served in the U.S. Army
during the Korean War.
He was born April 9, 1929, in
Lincoln, to Henry and Leta Linton Reinhart. He married Dorothy
Higgins in Lincoln on June 2, 1951.
He is survived by his wife, of
Lincoln; one son, Jim (and Jessica) Reinhart of Springfield;
three daughters, Linda (and James) Snyder of Lincoln, Diane
Reinhart of Springfield and Debra (and Tim) Kelley of Lincoln;
five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister,
Marlene (and C. Wayne) Schrader of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
He was a member of Holy Family
Church, Legion Post 263, VFW and Moose Lodge 1441.
Memorials may be made to Maple
Ridge Care Centre or Carroll Catholic School.

MOUNT PULASKI -- Rosemary
Barringer, 69, of Mount Pulaski died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at
1:37 p.m. at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with
Jeremy Thomason officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to
10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Mrs. Barringer had worked as a data processor at Provena
Health Care.
She was born April 15, 1936, in Lincoln to Wilford and Mildred
Millard Logan. She married Floyd Barringer in Lincoln on April
12, 1958.
She is survived by one son, Jim (and Nicki) Barringer of
Aurora; one daughter, Leann (and Jay) Pogemiller of New Paltz,
N.Y.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (and
Patricia) Logan of Las Vegas, Nev., and Leroy (and Linda)
Logan of Lincoln; and two sisters, Billie Jo Eakin and Barbara
Logan, both of Mount Pulaski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son,
Steven.
She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church, to which
memorials may be made.

LINCOLN -- Robert Allen Scott, 79, of Lincoln died Tuesday,
May 24, 2005, at 12:40 p.m. at St. John's Hospice in
Springfield.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral
will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry
Maffett officiating.
Burial will be in Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago.
Mr. Scott worked in inside sides for Nationwide Papers,
Bloomingdale.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was born Feb. 7, 1926, in Chicago to Clifford Allen and
Mabel Frey Scott. He married Lana Lee in Chicago on July 1,
1972.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; three sons,
Clifford Allen (and Brenda) Scott of Lincoln, James
Christopher (and Kathy) Scott of Antioch and Timothy Robin
Scott of South Bend Ind.; six grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren, and one sister, Patricia Tobey of Tucson,
Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marianne.
Memorials may be made to Prairie Heart Institute,
Springfield.

McLEAN -- James B. Getchel, 81,
of McLean was pronounced dead at 9:45 p.m. Monday, May 23,
2005, at his home.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11
a.m. Friday at Quiram Funeral Home in Atlanta. A memorial
service will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, and
McLean American Legion Burger-Benedict Post 573 will conduct
military rites.
Interment of cremains will be in
Rovey Cemetery, Farmersville.
Mr. Getchel retired from S.J.
Groves Construction Company. He currently was a car courier
for Bob Dennison Toyota.
He served in the Merchant Marine
during World War II.
He was born July 20, 1923, at
Sperry, Okla., to Orila and Verda Getchel. He married Elma C.
Laing in Allentown, Pa., on Feb. 6, 1946. She died Jan. 18,
1990.
He is survived by one daughter,
Joan (and Jim) Schroeder of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, William
A. (and Kim) Getchel of Atwater and Victor J. (and Kenny)
Getchel of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; and one brother, Keith Getchel of
Bradford, Pa.
He was a member and past
commander of McLean American Legion Burger-Benedict Post 573
and a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the McLean Rescue Squad.

PEORIA -- Melissa M. Hennessey Mitchell, 34, of Peoria died
Monday, May 23, 2005, at 8:10 a.m. as a result of an auto
accident on Illinois Route 116, one-fourth mile east of Route
117 in Roanoke Township.
Her body was cremated and there will be no services.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln handled
arrangements.
Mrs. Mitchell was a nurse for Staffing Difference in
Peoria.
She was born Feb. 5, 1971, in Jacksonville to David and
Tecia McDaniel Hennessey. She married Kenneth L. Mitchell in
Peoria on May 7, 2003.
She is survived by her husband, of Peoria; her parents, of
Lincoln; one son, Johnathon Johnson of Hartsburg; three
daughters, Chelsea Johnson and Lori Johnson of Hartsburg and
Kelli Carpenter of Armington; one brother, Richard Hennessey
of Fort Benning, Ga.; and her maternal grandmother, Della
McDaniel of Gillespie.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and
paternal grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the family for the children's
education fund.
