Logan County Courthouse Centennial poster and essay contest winners          Send a link to a friend

[NOV. 9, 2005]  The winners of the poster and essay contest in commemoration of the Logan County Courthouse Centennial were announced during the ceremony on Saturday at the Logan County Courthouse. The students were called forward and their parents were asked to stand.

The contest was sponsored by Logan-Mason-Menard Regional Office of Education 38.

Poster contest winners

Grades 1-3

  1. Jeris Bender, second grade, West Lincoln-Broadwell School; Mrs. Kuntz, teacher

Grades 4-6

First-place winners received a courthouse replica and a $50 U.S. savings bond. Second-place winners received $15 and a commemorative pin. Third-place winners received $10 and a commemorative pin. All winners received a special certificate.
