University wins national title

Grace University of Omaha, Neb., became the
reigning volleyball champions in the National Christian College
Athletic Association Division II by defeating Baptist Bible College
of Clarks Summit, Pa., in a five-game match Saturday afternoon. The
Royals of Grace won the first two games and, after losing the next
two, rallied for a 15-11 decision to capture the tournament title.

In the semifinals Grace
defeated Clearwater Christian College of Clearwater, Fla., and
Baptist Bible earned its way into the championship match by
defeating Crown College of St. Bonifacius, Minn. Kari McFadden of
Lincoln Christian College was named to the all-tournament team along
with Emily Harlan, Baptist Bible College; Jennifer Sunwall, Crown
College; Crystal Cornish, Providence College; Mary Harder, Grace
University; April Lewis, Clearwater Christian College; and the most
outstanding player, Amy Pausley, Baptist Bible College.

Lincoln Christian College will once again host the NCCAA
championship tournament in November 2006.
