Another arctic cold front will push across central
and east-central Illinois on Wednesday evening, switching the winds
into the northwest and bringing in much colder air. Overnight low
temperatures are forecast to drop to between 10 and 15 degrees by
dawn on Thursday. These temperatures, coupled with northwest winds
of 15 to 25 mph, with occasional gusts to 30 mph, will produce wind
chills in the range of 5 below to 15 below zero.
