Guy Fraker, a Bloomington attorney and author with lifelong
interest in Abraham Lincoln, will give PowerPoint presentations on
the 8th Judicial Circuit, which Abraham Lincoln traveled. Fraker
gave a presentation last year for the birthday party, and there was a
great crowd for each presentation.
Abraham and Mary Lincoln impersonators will be visiting with guests
at the courthouse.
Period music will be provided all afternoon by the ever-popular Postville Express.
Sing along with them or just tap your feet and have lots of fun.
Mike Anderson, a storyteller and musician, will perform. He has
performed from the Atlantic coast to Canada and to the Gulf. He is a
superb communicator and has won many awards. He has honed his skills
as a storyteller and is one of the best yarn-spinners and worst
pun-tellers anywhere.
Postville volunteers will conduct tours and serve birthday cake
and punch from noon to 4 p.m.
