Robert "Bob" Schrishuhn, 65, of Lincoln, formerly of Mount
Pulaski, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at 12:10 a.m. at St.
Clara's Manor.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. His
funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with
Pastor Mark Drews officiating.
Burial, with military rites, will be in Mount Pulaski
Cemetery.
Mr. Schrishuhn retired from Caterpillar.
He had been in the Army Reserves.
He was born July 23, 1940, at Chestnut to Donald Homer
and Edna Mae Leffler Schrishuhn.
He is survived by one daughter, Sheryl Ann (and David)
Gibbs of Mount Pulaski; one brother, Victor L. (and
Margaret) Schrishuhn of Mount Pulaski; two grandchildren;
and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother,
Donald H. Schrishuhn Jr.
He was a member of Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran Church.
He graduated from Mount Pulaski High School in 1958.
Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski Ambulance or Mount
Pulaski Zion Lutheran School.

MOUNT PULASKI -- Ernest C. Billington, 89, died
Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at 9:25 p.m. at Heritage Manor in
Springfield.
His funeral was Saturday morning at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with
Jeremy Thomason officiating. Visitation preceded the
service.
Burial is in Atlanta Cemetery, Atlanta.
Mr. Billington was a retired farmer and had worked at Lehn
and Fink in Lincoln for 15 years.
He was in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was born July 10, 1916, at Cisne to Charles J. and
Anna V. Trago Billington. He married Louise Long in
Bloomington on Jan. 6, 1943.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, James E. (and
Annette) Billington of Lincoln, Robert L. (and Vickie)
Billington of Creve Coeur and Ronald W. (and Donna)
Billington of Bellevue, Neb.; two sisters, Doris (and
William) Morris of Lincoln and Neona (and David) Myrick of
Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at his church.

LINCOLN -- Janice "Jan" Kay Parks, 63, of Springfield and
Fort Myers, Fla., died Feb. 1, 2006, at 12:41 a.m. at Health
Park Medical Center in Fort Myers.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11,
at New Union Cemetery, Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Carnahan
officiating.
There is no visitation.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is
handling arrangements.
Mrs. Parks was a secretary for the state of Illinois from
1960 until her retirement from the Bureau of the Budget in
1991.
She was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Lincoln to Matthew and
Eleanor Lenz Wertin. She married Roby Parks on May 15, 1971,
in Springfield.
She is survived by her husband, of Springfield and Fort
Myers, Fla., and her father, of Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Wertin,
and her brother, Bruce Wertin.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

the Animal Protective League in Springfield.
