MOUNT PULASKI -- Davy Lee Creager, 75, of Mount Pulaski died
Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at 1:35 a.m. at Memorial Medical
Center in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. His
funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home,
with Bill Shanle officiating.
Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery.
Mr. Creager was a millwright at MII Inc. in Lincoln
before he retired in 1995.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was born May 22, 1930, in Mount Pulaski to Raymond S.
and Hazel Wilham Creager. He married Jacqueline Louise
Dennison in Springfield on Nov. 9, 1954.
He is survived by his wife, of Mount Pulaski; two
daughters, Paula Jean Creager of Springfield and Caryn
Martin of Athens; a half brother; and three half sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three
sisters, Diane Creager, Jeanette Creager and Shirley Turner.
He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church,
Springfield VFW Post 755 and Pekin Local 644 of the
Carpenters union.
Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski EMS or the
American Leukemia Foundation.
