Redline Express Dance Camp returns         

[JAN. 17, 2006]  NORMAL -- The annual Redline Express Dance Camp for grades K-12 returns to Horton Field House on Feb. 3-4. Camp sessions, which will be in the North Gym, will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 3 and from noon to 2 p.m. on Feb. 4.

Participants will learn a dance routine and then perform at halftime of the Illinois State women's basketball game on Feb. 4 as the 'Birds take on Missouri Valley Conference rival Indiana State. Campers will attend the game as a group following the afternoon lesson. In addition to the instruction, campers will receive free admission to the game and a free T-shirt. Parents may purchase tickets to the game for $6 each.

Camper check-in will begin at 6 p.m. on Feb. 3. Parents must attend a short meeting at 8:30 that evening. The camp fee of $25 per person can be made by a check payable to "ISU Bands."

The deadline to register is Jan. 27.
