Farmers Supporting Independent Agriculture meeting Tuesday      Send a link to a friend

[JAN. 27, 2006]  Members and friends of Farmers Supporting Independent Agriculture will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Logan County Farm Bureau Building, 120 S. McLean St. in Lincoln.

At the meeting the group will continue discussion about issues facing local family farmers and rural communities and will also talk about recent FSIA activities and future strategy for addressing the issues that face our communities.

The organization promotes local economics through a faith-based framework that seeks to establish relationships between landowners and local farmers. It "empowers God's people to become full partners in the decision-making process on issues that affect their families, communities and region."
