Charles Finfrock

[JUNE 29, 2006]  Charles W. "Finney" Finfrock, 86, of Lincoln died Thursday, June 29, 2006, at 1:12 a.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

His body will be cremated. There will be no services or visitation.

Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, handled arrangements.

Mr. Finfrock retired from PPG Industries in Lincoln in 1982.

He was born May 27, 1920, at Atlanta, to Wilbur C. and Gurtha Beers Finfrock. He married Maxine Harnacke on June 23, 1940, in St. Charles, Mo.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Linda (and Marvin) Spaits of Lincoln; one sister, Janice Jouett of Wood River; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of American Flint Glass Local 1015 of Toledo, Ohio. He served as treasurer from 1965 to 1982 and attended international conventions and negotiations for the union.

He also was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to the family.
