Route 66 Motor Tour comes through Logan County with Lincoln stop

[JUNE 8, 2006]  The 17th annual Route 66 Association of Illinois Motor Tour will be making "Passport Stops" in Elkhart, Broadwell, Lincoln and Atlanta. The motor tour is stopping overnight in Lincoln to host the Route 66 Hall of Fame program and banquet at the After Shock.

This three-day tour, titled "Cozy on Down Route 66... 80th Anniversary of the Mother Road," will begin in Edwardsville on Friday and work its way through Illinois on Route 66, ending in Pontiac.
