LINCOLN -- Virginia May Lambert, 91, died Tuesday, May
23, 2006, at 7:59 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.
Mrs. Lambert was an inspector at Lehn and Fink before she
retired in 1979.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tim
Searby officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the
service.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
She was born May 30, 1914, in Decatur to Rolla W. and
Gertrude A. Young Disney. She married John Joseph Lambert on
June 2, 1934, in Springfield. He died Aug. 2, 2005.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty
Antoine.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church, the
Friendship Corner class and Jolly Seniors, of which she was
past financial secretary.
Memorials may be made to Lincoln Christian Church,
Lincoln Christian College or St. Clara's Manor.
