[OCT. 30, 2006]  Gladys Adams, 95, of Lincoln died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at 12:45 a.m. at the Christian Village.

Her body was cremated, there is no visitation.

Family members will have a graveside service with burial of her cremains at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker.

She was born July 27, 1911, at Carrier Mills to Jacob and Laura Pearl Tinsley Bennewitz. She married James Henry Adams on Dec. 29, 1940, at Morrisonville. He preceded her in death in April 1968.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen Beaver Newman of Lincoln; one sister, Sue Miller of Lexington, Ky.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gayle Ladson; five brothers; and two sisters.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lincoln.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Village.
