Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the
First United Methodist Church in Lincoln, with the
Rev. Jame Hahs and the Rev. Julie Azbel officiating.
Burial, with military rites, will be in Zion
Cemetery.
Mr. Oldham retired from Carpenters Local 742 in
Decatur.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Macon County to
Fred and Margaret Cutler Oldham. He married
Donabelle Manuel on Aug. 31, 1952, in Pana. She died
May 10, 2005.
He is survived by three sons, Tommy (and April)
Oldham of Delta Junction, Alaska,
Bobby Oldham of Kenney and Billy (and Julie)
Oldham of Atlanta; one daughter, Jan Wood of
Lincoln; one sister, Phyllis (and Paul) Muchow of
Broadwell; six grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by one grandson and
one brother, Robert.
He was a member of the First United Methodist
Church, United Methodist Men, assisted the Logan
County Food Pantry and was active in the Henderson
Settlement in Frakes, Ky. He was also a member of
Oconee Masonic Lodge and VFW Post 1756.
He was a graduate of Tower Hill Community High
School.
