Public invited to Easter play, 'He Took My
Place'
[March 31, 2007] The Lincoln Church of God, 1415 Fourth St., will perform an Easter play on April 6 at 7 p.m. and on April 7 at 6 p.m. The play is titled "He Took My Place." The performances are open to the public and no tickets are necessary. The play will re-enact the crucifixion of Jesus and explore what Barabbas would have thought about Jesus taking his place on the cross. Contemporary Christian music has also been incorporated. Refreshments will be served each evening in the church fellowship facility. For more information, call the church at 217-732-8989.
