13 mistakes to avoid when starting your music ministry [April 13, 2007] SPRINGFIELD -- On Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m., Dr. Naima Johnston will lead a seminar, "Called to Sing," at Holy Ground Coffee House, 304 W. Allen St. If you are beginning or thinking about music as a ministry, this interactive workshop, about 13 mistakes to avoid, will assist you in starting your music ministry in excellence. Learn how to increase bookings, develop a ministry action plan and much more. The cost is $5 at the door. After the seminar, Naima will be in concert, sharing music the way God gave it to her.
