Terry L. Sabo, 54, of Hammond, Ind.,
formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at 8:06 p.m. at
Community Hospital, Munster, Ind. |
A memorial service will be at Solan-Pruzin Funeral
Home in Hammond, Ind., on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with
the Rev. Grant R. Ray officiating. Visitation in
Lincoln will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home.
Mr. Sabo was a retired sergeant and detective
from the Logan County Sheriff's Department.
He was born July 31, 1952, in East Chicago to
Albert E. and Dorothy I. Bellamy Sabo.
He is survived by two daughters, Alicia (and
Jason) Clevenger of Johnston, Iowa, and Abbey Sabo
of St. Louis, Mo.; his mother, of Hammond, Ind.; two
sisters, Cathy (and Paul) Beard of Indiana and
Sandra Chambers of Indiana; and one brother, Larry
(and Joann) Sabo of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a member of Fraternal Order of Police 78,
Sons of the American Legion Post 263, Fraternal
Order of Eagles Lodge 2708, Tri-Police Association
and a past member of Lincoln Jaycees. |
He graduated from Hammond (Ind.) High School with
the class of 1971 and attended Lincoln Christian
College. He graduated from the FBI Academy in
Quantico, Va., in 1983.
Memorials may be made to Palmer College of
Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
