Jean Kuhlman, 84, of Lincoln died
Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at 12:34 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Immanuel
Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dan Wissmann officiating. Visitation
will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church. |

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln
Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln.
Mrs. Kuhlman had been employed at Sunkist Pie
Co., at Lincoln College, at H&R Block as a tax
preparer and as secretary at Aukamp State Farm
Insurance Agency.
She was born March 24, 1922, in Spencer County,
Ind., to Raymond F. and Anna M. Hasenmyer Cohoon.
She married Harold H. Kuhlman on June 17, 1941, in
Lincoln. He died Dec. 8, 2003.
She is survived by one son, Jim (and Peggy)
Kuhlman of Lincoln; two daughters, Luann (and Roy)
Hoback of Dahlgren, Va., and Linda (and Wayne)
Harris of McMinnville, Ore.; one sister, B. Joan
Kirchgessner of Peoria; nine grandchildren; and many
great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death two brothers,
Lloyd E. and Thomas R. Cohoon, and one grandson. |
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the
Ladies Aid of the church and 60 Plus. She was past
president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 1756
and had been a Girl Scout leader in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church
or Friendship Manor.
