[FEB. 9, 2007]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Mount Pulaski High School is hosting Financial Aid Night on Tuesday at 6:30 in the high school cafeteria. The program includes specific information about completing the FAFSA, the free application for federal student aid, which is required by colleges for students who are seeking financial assistance. The speaker will be Lee Bursi, director of financial aid at Lincoln Land Community College.

Both a paper version of the FAFSA and an online version are available. After the program there will be an opportunity to use the school computers to complete the FAFSA online if parents would like to do so that evening. Please call Nancy Baker at Mount Pulaski High School, 792-3209, for information on what you will need to bring with you if you plan to complete the FAFSA at the school.

The program is designed for parents of seniors, but parents of juniors are also welcome to attend to get an overview of the financial aid process. The program is open to parents from area high schools.
