Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial
service for Mr. Bentz will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at
the Lincoln Southern Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Dennis Shull officiating. Visitation will be one
hour prior to the service.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Bentz worked at Lincoln Developmental Center
for many years.
He was born Aug. 5, 1945, in Pekin to Arthur and
Edna Mangold Bentz. He married Mary K. Hirtman on
Jan. 21, 1984, in Lincoln.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Robert
Bentz of Lincoln and Brian Bentz of Bushnell; one
brother, Ron Beck of Jonesboro, Ark.; and one
grandchild.
