Workshops will be presented with the theme of "Happiness is..." in
the following categories: departments; legislation; reporting;
Junior projects; fundraising; GFWC Illinois president's special
emphasis, "The World of GFWC"; GFWC Illinois state project, "Our
promise... a safe place for every child"; president; secretary;
treasurer; leadership; membership; public relations; domestic
violence; and empowering women one by one. Attendance awards will be
presented. The summer seminar will be presented July 10 at the
Thelma Keller Convention Center, 1202 North Keller Drive in
Effingham. The convention center is located at the junction of
intestates 70 and 57, Exit 160. Mail reservations and the $20
payment, made out to GFWC Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs, by
July 3 to Pat Copple, 2411 North Raney, Effingham, IL 62401.
The summer seminar will be presented July 11 at the Chateau, 1601
Jumer Drive, Bloomington, IL 61704. From the north take Exit 167
from I-55 (Veterans Parkway; also Business 55), and from the south
take Exit 157 from I-55. Mail reservations and the $20 payment, made
out to GFWC Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs, by July 3 to Bev
Orr, 44 Interlacken Road, Springfield, IL 62704.

Inn Willowbrook, 7800 Kingery Highway, Willowbrook, IL 60521. The
Holiday Inn is located at the intersection of I-55 (the Stevenson
Expressway) at the Illinois Route 83 (Kingery Highway) exit. Mail
reservations and the $20 payment, made out to GFWC Illinois
