Patricia Knochel

[June 11, 2007]  Patricia P. Knochel, 85, of Lincoln died June 6, 2007, in Bullhead City, Ariz.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Trinity Episcopal Church, with Father James O. Cravens officiating.

Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery.

Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Knochel retired from teaching at Lincoln Community High School in 1984. 

She was born June 22, 1921, to Patrick and Mary Lorena Sargent Peifer. She married Hugh M. Knochel on Sept. 28, 1950, in Springfield. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 2002, in Lincoln.

Mrs. Knochel is survived by her son, Keith (and wife Aline) Knochel of Bullhead City, Ariz., and two grandchildren, Kristen Knochel and Amelia Knochel, both of Bullhead City.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln. She was a member of the American Association of University Women and past president of the local chapter. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She graduated from Lincoln High School, earned her bachelor's degree from Stetson University in Deland, Fla., and her master's degree from the University of Illinois.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church.
