Ronald Cutlip

[June 22, 2007]  Ronald Lynn Cutlip, 65, of Niles, formerly of Lincoln, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at 9:25 p.m. at Midwest Hospice Care Center in Skokie.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Baker officiating.

Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.

Mr. Cutlip had recently retired. He was a self-employed builder and owned Abbey Builders of Chicago.

He was born July 18, 1941, in Lincoln to Roy and Ida Mahler Cutlip. He married Cheryl Muroidate on July 31, 1975, in Chicago.

He is survived by his mother, Ida Cutlip Stabbe, of Lincoln; his wife, of Niles; four sons, Robbie Cutlip of Glendale, Ariz., Aaron Cutlip of Springfield, Shawn (and Stefanie) Cutlip of Lemont and Kyle Cutlip of Niles; three daughters, Valerie Glasco of Lakeland, Fla., Candice Cutlip of Chicago and Aleia Cutlip of Niles; one brother, Fred (and Jean) Cutlip of Ellensburg, Wash.; one sister, Darlene "Sue" Walker of Lincoln; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter.

He was a Methodist.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Save the Children.
