Dianna Kirby

[June 22, 2007]  Dianna L. Kirby, 50, of St. Peters, Mo., formerly of Beason and Waynesville, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at 6:30 a.m. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Kurt Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Waynesville.

Miss Kirby was general manager of Florissant Valley Community College radio station KCFV-FM.

She was born June 27, 1956, in Lincoln to Raymond and Pat Bartle Kirby.

She is survived by one brother, Loyd Kirby of Waynesville, and one niece, Lorenda Renee Kirby of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of St. Charles, Mo., and the National Broadcasting Society.

She marched with the Springfield Falcons and the Statesmen drum corps and was still an avid Drum Corps International fan.

She was an avid bowler and participated in many state and national tournaments. Her name is listed in the Missouri Bowling Hall of Fame.

She was a 1974 graduate of Beason High School.
