Marilyn McGuire

[June 29, 2007]  Marilyn J. McGuire, 65, of Lincoln died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at 8:40 p.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. McGuire worked at the Lincoln Development Center in the dietary department and later as taxi driver in Lincoln.

She was born July 24, 1941, in Lincoln to Raymond John Frederick and Irene Mae King Steffens Sr.

She is survived by her two daughters, Paula (and Wayne) Redenbaugh of Lincoln and Donna Johner of Springfield; one son, Bobby Gene McGuire Jr. of Lincoln; her former husband, Bobby Gene McGuire Sr. of Elizabethtown, Ky.; one brother, Raymond John Frederick "Jack" (and Ellen) Steffens of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son and her parents.

Memorials may be made to her family.
