[March 19, 2007]  Emma H. Dow, 66, of Lincoln died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 5:40 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kline Cemetery, rural Broadwell.

Mrs. Dow last worked as a cook at the Christian Village in Lincoln.

She was born in Venice, Fla., on July 2, 1940, to Hubert and Flossie Blackburn. She married Jack Deilkes in 1961, and he preceded her in death in 1988. She married Donald Dow on Jan. 20, 1990, in Broadwell. He survives.

She is also survived by one son, Ed Deilkes of Broadwell; two stepsons, Bill Dow of Indiana and Richard (and Valarie) Dow of Texas; two brothers, Hubert (and Charlene) Blackburn of North Carolina and George (and Judy) Blackburn of Florida; one sister, Joan (and Lamar) Darnell of Georgia; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of Broadwell Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
