Pam
Short directs tour participants’ attention to the unique
architectural features of the Arcade building and passageway in
downtown Lincoln. Saturday evening was the second and last tour
session of the Historic Downtown Building Walk, featuring the Arcade,
Shay parking lot and the former Sandel's gas station, now the Main
Street Lincoln office. The tours were sponsored by Main Street
Lincoln, Logan County Genealogical and Historical Society, and
Lincoln Historic Homes and Buildings Commission. Main Street
director Wanda Lee Rohlfs said that future tours have not been
determined yet, but there would probably be more featuring some of
the other historic buildings in downtown Lincoln.
On Saturday,
"Lincoln goes Shakespeare for Lincoln."
