Bureal McCabe

[November 09, 2007]  Bureal H. McCabe, 92, of Lincoln died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at 9 p.m. at St. Clara's Manor.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Reinwald officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Mr. McCabe retired from Lincoln Container-Pierce Glass bottle factory.

He was born March 1, 1915, in Lincoln to Finess and Freda Borchardt McCabe. He married Mary Catherine Thornton on April 1, 1944, in Lincoln. She preceded him in death Jan. 27, 1997.

He is survived by one daughter, Breanda Moxley of Lincoln; one son, Jim Kirk of Lincoln; one brother, Calvin McCabe of Lincoln; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Fraternal Order of Eagles 2708 and a 50-year member of the Lions Club.

Memorials may be made to the Lions Club or the McCabe family.
