The 60th CROP Hunger Walk
is nearing completion,
with over $5,600 to date. Pictured at left is Rosemary Apel, Logan
County CROP treasurer, receiving Sara Rossetti’s packet with over $2,200. Rossetti
was the top fundraiser for 2007, her ninth
year of walking for CROP. She thanks her Trinity Episcopal Church
family for all their help. This year, Logan County CROP will donate
its local 25 percent of the funds to CIEDC, while the rest goes to help
overcome world hunger. The CROP name now stands for Communities Responding to
Overcome Poverty. [picture by Karen Hargis]
