[November 19, 2007]  Evelyn L. Meyer, 72, of Lincoln died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at 6:53 a.m. at The Christian Village.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. A service will follow at 7 p.m., with Ryan Edgecomb officiating.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Hill Cemetery, Broughton.

Mrs. Meyer retired from teaching at West Lincoln-Broadwell School. She was also a real estate agent for Bock Realty.

She was born July 13, 1935, in Broughton to Arthur and Grace Jones Irvin.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (and Bill) Hilgendorf of Broadwell and Cheryl (and Rick) Farney of Hartsburg, and two granddaughters, Natasha Garst and Emily Hilgendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Woman’s Club and Retired Teachers Association.

Memorials may be made to Broadwell Christian Church or Lincoln Christian College and Seminary.
