MOUNT PULASKI -- Marvin H. Hilton, 80,
of Mount Pulaski died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at 12:15 a.m. at his
home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. His funeral
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin
Treptow officiating. |
Burial will be in Steenbergen Cemetery.
Mr. Hilton was foreman for Pillsbury in
Springfield for 23 years and then worked for
Pittsburgh Glass in Lincoln for 17 years.
He was born Oct. 12, 1927, in Pottsville, Ky., to
Hurtle and Pauline Gammon Hilton. He married Dorotha
M. Alcorn in Buechel, Ky., on June 9, 1945. She
preceded him in death on Aug. 7, 2005
He is survived by one daughter, Linda (and Gary)
Brooks of Wellsville, Kan.; one brother, Donald
Hilton of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters,
one brother, two sons, one daughter and one
great-grandchild.
He was a member of the First United Methodist
Church of Mount Pulaski. |
He was also a member of the farmers market in
Lincoln, where he sold fruits and vegetables for
many years.
Memorials may be made to the First United
Methodist Church of Mount Pulaski.
