ATLANTA -- Clara M. Leesman, 95, of
Atlanta died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln |

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Quiram
Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta, with Paul Weber
officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home
from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the
service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Atlanta
Cemetery.
Mrs. Leesman retired in 1972 from the Lincoln
Garment Company in Lincoln.
She was born Nov. 30, 1911, in Devil's Lake,
N.D., to James H. and Ida Leach Gillard. She married
Clarence W. Leesman on Oct. 7, 1934, in Decatur. He
preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1996.
She is survived by her children, Wayne (and
Margaret) Leesman of Atlanta, Larry (and Glenna)
Leesman of Lincoln, Gary Leesman of Springfield,
Carol (and Jack) Estes of Atlanta and Darlene
Leesman of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, one
brother, one grandson and one granddaughter. |
She was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church.
