Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19,
at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev.
Thomas Taylor officiating. Visitation will be for
one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in
Holy Cross Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 15, 1917, in Lincoln to George
P. and Frances Stephanic Vicic. She married Virgil
E. Reed on Dec. 26, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio. He
preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 2005.
She is survived by her son, David E. Reed of Sun
City West, Ariz., and one grandson.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers
and one sister.
Mrs. Reed was a former member of St. James
Catholic Church in Decatur.
