New Members Elected to Christian Homes Board of Directors

[April 02, 2008]  Timothy F. Phillippe, president of Christian Homes, has announced the election of Maurine Collett, Randy Clark and Ronald F. Sewell to the board of directors.

Collett, of East Peoria, retired in 2004 from the Apostolic Christian Homes for the Handicapped in Morton, where she served 26 years as a registered nurse and director of nursing. She is a graduate of Illinois Central College in East Peoria and holds a bachelor's degree in health sciences from the University of St. Francis in Joliet. She is a member of Morton Christian Church and has served on the steering committee of Washington Christian Village since 2005.

Clark, of Effingham, has worked as the corporate office manager of a local automotive parts company for 25 years and serves on the board of the Beecher City Church of Christ. She has served on the steering committee of Heartland Christian Village in Neoga since 1997.

Sewell, of Columbus, Ind., recently retired as senior vice president of SIHO Insurance Services in Columbus, Ind., where he was responsible for corporate operations and human resources. He continues to serve on several community boards, including Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, Columbus Area Economic Growth Council and Rotary Club of Columbus. He chairs the board of elders at the First Christian Church in Columbus and was recently elected to a third term as trustee of Milligan College in Tennessee.

Christian Homes Inc., headquartered in Lincoln, has been a leader in Christ-centered services to senior adults since 1962. The company employs a staff of 2,400 and provides independent and assisted living, rehabilitation therapy, dementia care and skilled nursing care to 3,000 older adults at 14 senior living communities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri.
