[April 09, 2008]  BLOOMINGTON -- Albert R. Huelskoetter, 90, formerly of Beason, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at 2:08 p.m. at Martin Health Center, Westminster Village in Bloomington

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Burial will be in Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut. Family and friends will meet at Chestnut Lutheran Church at 9 a.m. Saturday, and the burial will be at 9:30.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln, with the Rev. Philip Kaufmann and the Rev. Robert Backhus officiating.

Mr. Huelskoetter was a retired hog farmer at Beason.

He was born Oct. 5, 1917, in Middletown to Rudolph and Caroline Mahler Huelskoetter. He married Eileen J. Dierker on Jan. 9, 1949, in Chestnut. She preceded him in death Jan. 20, 2007.

He is survived by two sons, Larry (and Vicki) Huelskoetter of Beason and Lynn (and Chris) Howard of Boston, Mass.; two daughters, Kenda (and Joe) Jones of Beason and Karen Huelskoetter of Chicago; one brother, Robert (and Linda) Huelskoetter of Lincoln; and seven grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Normal.

Memorials may be made to Westminster Village Foundation or Christ Lutheran Church of Normal.
