Patricia 'Patty' Timm

[August 04, 2008]  HARTSBURG -- Patricia L. "Patty" Timm, 56, of Hartsburg died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at 10:06 a.m. at her home.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Prairieland Christian Church in Hartsburg, with Vance Russell officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday at the church and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Burial will be in Hieronymus Cemetery, rural Armington.

Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Timm had worked at General Electric, Armington grocery store, Lawrence Place and Dixie Travel Plaza.

She was born June 28, 1952, in Bloomington to William Thomas and Fern L. Harvey Gresham. She married Billie Timm on Feb. 14, 1971, at the Atlanta Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, of Hartsburg; her parents, Bill and Fern Gresham of Atlanta; her daughter, Jennifer Timm of Pekin; her son, Todd Timm of Hartsburg; one brother, Gary (and Delores) Gresham; and three grandchildren, Stephanie Overton, Daytona Brownfield and Maliek Isaih Remels.

She was a member of Prairieland Christian Church and the Hartsburg Fire Department. She was also a Girl Scout leader and Boy Scout leader.

Patty graduated from Atlanta High School in 1970.

Memorials may be made to the Hartsburg Rescue Squad or to her family.
