HARTSBURG -- Iva M. Collins, 86, of
Hartsburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at 6:14 a.m. at Maple Ridge
Care Centre in Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Vance Russell officiating. Visitation
will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Kline Cemetery, Broadwell. |

Mrs. Collins was a homemaker. She was born May 4,
1922, in Kentucky to Edgar and Arminta Monroe
Robison. She married Alfred M. Collins on May 4,
1942, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death on
June 22, 2006.
She is survived by one son, Bruce E. Collins of
Hartsburg; three daughters, Shirley M. (and Ed) Dyer
of Elkhart, Linda K. (and Bill) Fry of Mississippi
and Brenda S. (and Larry) Devore of Lincoln; one
brother, Robert (and Sheryl) Robison of Peoria; one
sister, Maude Agans of Pawnee; eight grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers,
three sisters and one son, James A. Collins.
She was a member of Broadwell Christian Church. |
