Dorothy Anne Lehner, 81, of Lincoln, a
loving wife, mother and grandmother, a devout Christian who lived
and shared her faith throughout her life, entered into eternal glory
at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, from Memorial Medical Center
in Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran
Church of Lincoln, with the Rev. Mark Thompson officiating.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Saturday at the church and one
hour prior to the service on Sunday. |
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at New Union
Cemetery. Arrangements are by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mrs. Lehner was a homemaker.
She was born May 2, 1927, at Fargo, N.D., to
Herman and Mabel Larsen Kollmann. She married
Leonard R. Lehner on Jan. 10, 1946, in Spokane,
Wash.
She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; three
daughters, Dianne (and Bill) Breen of Lincoln, Nancy
(and the Rev. Charles) Olander of New Holland and
Randy (and Roger) Payne of Normal; one son, Richard
(and Dianne) Lehner of Bloomington; 12
grandchildren, Eric (and Kim) Robinson of
Springfield, Dana (and Kim) Robinson of
Winston-Salem, N.C., Sara (and Jason) Netzley of
Morton, Christopher (and Victoria) Baker of Lincoln,
Laura Baker of St. Louis, Mo., Michael (and Leah)
Payne of Colfax, N.C., Mark (and Kristi) Payne of
Washington, Mo., Brandy (and Mike) Welch of
Bloomington, Brittney (and Mike) Krzystofiak of
Elgin, Bethany (and Doug) Johnson of Roanaoke, Va.,
Matthew Lehner of Bloomington and Ryan Lehner of
Bloomington; 11 great-grandchildren, Emily Robinson,
Bayley Robinson, Braidy Robinson, Evelyn Baker,
Eleanore Baker, Callie Payne, Dylan Menchetti, Gage
Swearingen, Kylie Welch, Amber Welch and Nolan
Krzystofiak, her stepmother, Martha Kollmann of
Spokane, Wash.; a half sister, Margie Dodson of
Portland, Ore.; and a half brother, Bob Kollmann of
Buckley, Wash. |
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant
brother, a half sister and a half brother.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of
Lincoln and the Altar Guild and Ladies Aid Society
of church. She was a food pantry volunteer.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of
Lincoln.
