Feodor 'Ted' Tratensek

[December 04, 2008]  CHESTNUT -- Feodor "Ted" Tratensek, 67, of Chestnut, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. at his home.

A graveside service at Laenna Cemetery will be at a later date.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski is handling arrangements.

Mr. Tratensek had been plant supervisor for 3B Tire in Commerce, Calif.

He was born Oct. 22, 1941, at Brcko, Yugoslavia, to Vojtch and Milica Tratensek. He married Carolyn Peterman in Lockport on June 5, 1963.

He is survived by his wife, of Chestnut; one daughter, Tania (and Kelly) Hagan of Woodridge; one son, Danial (and Deanna) Tratensek of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Milivoj (and Karen) Tratensek of Alexandria, Va.; one sister, Vesna Raskovic of Naperville; and three granddaughters, Jessica Dawn, Melissa Marie and Allison Dawn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the Chestnut Men's Club

Memorials may be made to Memorial Home Services Hospice.
