FLOOD ADVISORY FOR EASTERN LOGAN COUNTY IN CENTRAL IL.
The combination of heavy rainfall
over the past several days and the rapid snowmelt has led to
significant rises at Clinton lake. This may lead to significant
rises along Salt Creek due to water being released from the dam
site.
Locations impacted include Clinton, Beason, Chestnut, Kenney,
Hallsville, Midland City, Rowell & Weldon Springs State Park.
Farmlands along the banks of creeks streams & other low lying areas
are also subject to flooding. Do not drive into flooded areas.
A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Report any flooding to your local emergency manager.or the nearest
law enforcement agency for relay to the Natl Weather Service.
