[February 13, 2008]  McLEAN -- Kathy A. Farmer, 58, of McLean, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at 5:13 a.m. at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church of McLean. The Rev. Andy Maxwell will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday.

Burial will be in McLean Cemetery.

Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta is handling arrangements.

She was born Feb. 8, 1950, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Billy J. and Barbara Beyer Farmer.

She is survived by her mother; one daughter, Billie Smith of Easley, S.C.; two grandsons; and one sister, Nancy Barboru of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy J. Farmer, and one son, Larey Smith.

She graduated from Hartsburg-Emden High School in 1968.    

Memorials may be made to McLean Methodist Church or the Community Cancer Center at 407 East Vernon Ave. in Normal.
