EMDEN -- Patricia R. Aper, 81, of Emden,
died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at 8:53 a.m. in the emergency room at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Peasley Funeral Home
in Lincoln. Prior to the visitation, there will be a rosary service
at 3:45 p.m. |
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family
Catholic Church in Lincoln, with Father Jeffrey G.
Laible officiating. Burial will be in Hartsburg
Union Cemetery, rural Hartsburg.
Mrs. Aper was retired from Kmart. She had taught
at Rabbit Flat, Birks and Emden grade schools.
She was born Jan. 24, 1927, in Lincoln to Frank
and Rose Mary Weber Murray. She married Lowell Aper
on July 10, 1954, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church
in Lincoln.
She is survived by her husband; her three sons,
Michael (and Dawn) Aper of Savoy, David (and
Roxanne) Aper of Geneseo and Stephen (and Susan)
Aper of St. Louis; and 10 grandchildren.
Two sisters, three brothers and one grandson
preceded her in death.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church
and the Linpro Square Dance Club. |
She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1944 and
Lincoln College in 1946.
Pat will be remembered for her kind and gentle
heart. She will forever be loved and missed by her
family.
Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic School
in Lincoln or Emden Fire and Rescue.
