Mary Finley

[February 29, 2008]  Mary Louise Finley, 82, of Lincoln died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

Her funeral will be at noon Monday at Holland Barry and Bennett Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Burial will be in Beason.

Mrs. Finley retired from LDC as a housekeeper in 1991 after many years of service.

She was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Lincoln to Harold and Joyce Harris Hall. She married Glenn Denen Sapp and he preceded her in death. She then married Albert Finley and he also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Glenn and Jerry Lee Sapp, both of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Eugene Sapp; one daughter, Carol Joan Jones; and one great-granddaughter, Aryana Huffman.

She enjoyed collecting apples, lighthouses and unicorns.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Clara's Manor and will be accepted at the funeral home.
