Cross Brothers Implement-Mount Pulaski vs. Clinton YMCA

[July 02, 2008]  Cross Brothers Implement-Mount Pulaski defeated Clinton YMCA twice on Tuesday night in 12-and-under softball. Cross Brothers Implement won the first game 9-6 and the second game 21-11.

For CBI-MP in the first game, Rachel Durchholz had a single, an RBI and one stolen base; Erika Leever had a single and two stolen bases; Sam McCarty had an RBI; Cady Lowery a single and two RBIs; Taylor Anderson had a single, two RBIs and a stolen base; and Andrea Dickerson had a single. Leever pitched for Mount Pulaski, striking out six Clinton batters.

In the second game, Emily Johnston had two singles and two stolen bases; Hannah Skaggs had a stolen base; Durchholz had two singles and a stolen base; Leever had two singles and three stolen bases; Lowery had a double, two singles, four RBIs and four stolen bases; Anderson had a stolen base; Madison Chandler had a single and one RBI; Dickerson had a single; and McCarty had a single. CBI-MP was led by Anderson and Dickerson pitching.

The record for Cross Brothers Implement improves to 11 wins and two losses.

CBI-MP will travel to Lincoln on Thursday night for a doubleheader.
